Taranna Cottages offers a farm and bushland experience at Taranna on the spectacular Tasman Peninsula. While staying with us visit our Tasman Historical Museum and Coffee Shop.
The cottages are self-contained and located on the Convict Trail, between Port Arthur and Eaglehawk Neck. The rustic external appearance of the buildings has been deliberately retained. There are one and two bedroom cottages equipped with all the comforts and conveniences of a home away from home and sites with limited services available for travelers in self-contained campervans.
There is an abundance of animal and bird life here. You can enjoy bushwalks, bird watching and just generally relaxing in the peace and privacy of the Taranna Cottages property.
In the evening, warm up next to a cosy open log fire. Start the morning with a delicious cooked breakfast (provisions can be supplied in cottages for a small extra cost) before you set off to explore the scenic coastal and historic attractions of the Tasman Peninsula.
Central to shops, restaurants, the devil unzoo, and all historic and scenic attractions on the Tasman Peninsula including the newly opened Three Capes Track, Taranna Cottages makes an ideal base for your visit to the area....
