Cundletown Self-Guided Heritage Walk

In 1825, 15,000 acres were granted to Hart Davis and Son by Lord Bathurst of the Colonial Office,. Around 1844 the town was surveyed. In 1855 the grant was purchased by a group of businessmen in Sydney and the first auction of land was held on 31st October 1855. Cundletown was a major shipping port until the railway line went in 1913. This self-guided walk around Cundletown highlights a number of built and natural items of significance to the history of the village. The walk is approximately four kilometres. Allow about two hours to visit all the items of interest. Take drinking water and wear comfortable shoes.
