A free-spirited sense of adventure led the Hooper family to the wild, windswept shores of Cape Jaffa in 1993. Struck by the sense of isolation along one of Australia's most pristine stretches of coastline, they saw the potential of the rich, untouched terroir, creating a vineyard in harmony with the environment ... and life. Trail breakers rather than traditionalists, the Hooper's have made their own way, creating seriously good biodynamic wine filled with personality and good cheer. Hard work, passion and professionalism are poured into every vintage, helped along by morning surfs, crayfish, beach walks and bonfires.
Visit Cape Jaffa's desirably rustic cellar door for a taste of the Hooper's lifestyle. Drink in the wild air, wander through the biodynamic veggie patch or relax with a glass of wine and cheese platter on the veranda, overlooking the Mount Benson hinterland.
