At Orrie Cowie Merino Stud, you can have a unique farm experience on a genuine working farm. Orrie Cowie is situated 10 kilometres north west of Warooka on the beautiful Yorke Peninsula. You can meet the magnificent Australian Merino, be part of the shearing of its fleece. See the sheep dogs at work; seasonal experiences include feeding a lamb, collecting eggs from the chickens, playing with the puppies and throwing a fleece. You can explore the history of the stations and sheep in the area, and learn about farm life. Two hour tours are available or you can "Be a Farmer For A Day".
