Opened in July 2006, James Dorahy Project Space is an exciting art forum committed to the presentation of innovative forms of contemporary art.
The gallery features the work of emerging and mid career artists who present work in a wide range of media including drawing, painting, sculpture and photography that reflect a diversity and talent demonstrative of the current contemorary practice.
The aim of the exhibition program is to nurture the careers of the artists whilst developing and fostering relationships with curators, collectors, and other artists. Critical acclaim is a further goal and is achieved by the placement of works in important public and private collections as well as inclusion in significant exhibitions in both national and regional galleries.
