The Pelican Playhouse produces several theatrical and musical shows each year, hosts local and touring bands, film screenings, visual arts displays and is used for rehearsals, choral groups and even yoga classes.
They have a 96 seat theatre with an in house sound system, a funky licensed lounge to hang out in during the intermissions and a huge multipurpose space upstairs with views over the Mighty Clarence River.
They are currently undergoing major renovations to bring the old bird back to her former glory with help from local businesses and supporters. They are also celebrating 50 Year of Productions at the Pelican so it's the perfect time to come along to a show and see what's going on!
