With a later departure from your inner city Melbourne or St Kilda accommodation (contact us 24 hours prior to departure to confirm pick up location), you'll set off in comfortable, temperature-controlled transport on this amazing Great Ocean Road adventure. On your way out of Melbourne City, you'll see some amazing coastal scenery along this famous stretch of road. You'll visit some of the country's most famous surf beaches, where you can dip your toes in the water and watch the surfers and swimmers enjoying the lovely conditions.
You'll visit quaint seaside villages, such as Lorne and Apollo Bay. You'll have the chance to do some wildlife spotting ~ including the many local koalas and a huge variety of native bird species.
Scenic drive through the Rainforest to the verdant environment of the amazing Otway Rainforest, where you will be able to view some of Australia's tallest eucalyptus trees and do some more wildlife spotting. Heading towards the Shipwreck Coast, keep your camera out, because you'll also see the majestic 12 Apostles limestone rock formation and the fascinating Loch Ard Gorge ~ both absolute must-see's along the Great Ocean Road. Finally, to top your day off, you'll view the magical golden tones of the sunset over the ocean ~ a perfect end to a perfect tour!
Upon returning to Melbourne, you'll be dropped off at between 9pm to 11:30 pm (seasonal).
