George Harper of 'Abbotsford' built the George IV Inn in 1839. The sweeping veranda's, courtyard and sprawling sandstone structures are typical of this period. A boutique brewery has been established on the premises known as Scharer's Little Brewery, with beer brewed in the traditional German method.
It is a traditional country pub with relaxed atmosphere, serving award winning, traditional German beer including over 15 beers from locally and well know Australian beers. There is a great restaurant and leafy courtyard.
Live music Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Trivia Wednesday night from 7pm - prizes to be won.
