Come and explore Victoria's birthplace by the sea onboard Portland Cable Trams. Travel along Portland's historic foreshore and enjoy the breathtaking views of the bay in our fully restored saloon and grip cars. Running seven days a week from 10am to 3pm, our iconic tram stops at the WW2 Lookout Museum, Portland Botanic Gardens, Portland Information Centre, Powerhouse Museum and Tram Depot. The Portland Cable Tram Depot is more than just a tram stop. Housing a museum of historic local artefacts, featuring a local gemstone display, local model railway club display and gift shop. Enjoy a coffee while watching a short film documenting our local history.
